Become a part of our caring communityThe Engagement Marketing Lead identifies how Member Engagement Marketing will develop and influence the application of member-centric strategies to accelerate business goal achievement. The Engagement Marketing Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Engagement Marketing Lead plans and recommends engagement strategies to members based on detailed quantitative analyses of consumer databases and external data sources to develop data driven insights into members, their behaviors, buying preferences, and patterns. Provides thought and change partners to lead line of business and cohort transformations, and engagement improvement that puts the needs of the member at the center of all business functions, coordinated and pervasive throughout the enterprise. Finds the intersection points between the members and the plans, in order to optimize and maximize efforts that generate value for both the member and Humana. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Lead, Engagement Marketing to develop compelling GTM strategies that engage members with their health plan and clinical solutions for their medical conditions. This role will be responsible for interfacing with multiple business and marketing partners, developing marketing activation plans, bringing strategy to life, tracking performance and delivering results. This role will leverage the power of Humana's world-class marketing organization to drive health quality outcomes-improving member health and well-being while strengthening Humana's sustainable financial future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution of the Stars campaign lifecycle, translating priorities into strategies, execution timelines, and deliverables from strategy development, execution and launch, through to measurement and optimization
- Partner with stakeholders in the Stars, Clinical and Pharmacy businesses, as well as Marketing operations and analytics teams to align on campaign goals, and converting business needs into actionable GTM plans
- Develop and refine test-and-learn strategies, including hypotheses, measurement plans, and performance goals
- Execute and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, mail, SMS, app, web, call center, IVR) across all engagement areas
- Support journey mapping and personalization efforts, including NBA (Next Best Action) logic and content orchestration
- Participate in agile pod operations, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and tracking deliverables
- Lead performance tracking, outcomes reporting and analyses to inform strategic decisions and roadmap iterations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing lifecycle or customer engagement.
- Demonstrated 5 years experience in performance analyses and leveraging data to inform marketing strategies and drive performance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead work through influence (without direct authority), coordinating stakeholders, removing roadblocks, and driving to decisions and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from stratgeic planning through execution and measurement
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including comfort aligning partners, surfacing risks/tradeoffs, and navigating standard governance/approval processes
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills; able to translate ambiguous asks into clear plans, requirements, and next steps using available data and input
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear briefs, synthesize input, and deliver concise updates and performance readouts
- Comfort with ambiguity and frequent change; able to flex between strategy and execution and adjust plans as priorities evolve
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, senior services, or other regulated industries.
- Demonstrated Stars and Clinical programs knowledge, including familiarity with common Stars measures and how member engagement campaigns can support performance
- Familiarity with agile marketing methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Exposure to NBA (Next Best Action) engines, customer data platforms (CDPs), or journey orchestration technologies such as Adobe Experience Platform or Pega.
Additional Information
- This position will require working on Eastern Standard Time (EST) Hours.
- This position may require up to 10% travel.
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
