Hays is partnering with a well-established and growing privately owned organisation based on the Gold Coast. Operating across multiple business units, this confidential client is recognised for its strong market presence and commitment to operational excellence. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a capable and commercially minded Company Accountant to join their finance team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the business while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to an experienced accountant who enjoys working across all aspects of finance in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed

Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

5+ years' experience in a similar Company Accountant or Senior Accountant role

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting principles

Experience within a commercial or multi-entity environment

High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders

Proactive, hands-on, and able to work both autonomously and within a team
