As the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Marketing for CenterWell Senior Primary Care, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our marketing strategy, driving awareness, acquisition, and retention through data-informed marketing efforts that directly impact lives.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role suited for a strategic leader who excels at translating complex healthcare offerings into clear, differentiated value for consumers. You'll collaborate across enterprise teams, lead a passionate marketing team, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for CenterWell Senior Primary Care, aligning with enterprise growth, brand, and member experience goals
- Serve as a senior strategic partner to business unit leadership, bringing insights, perspective, and direction to key decisions
- Build, develop, and coach a high-performing team that supports multiple leaders across the business.
- Create and evolve messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points that resonate with prospects and patients
- Lead the design and implementation of market research and consumer insights to inform strategies and identify whitespace opportunities
- Define KPIs, track performance, and optimize plans to maximize NPV, reduce customer acquisition cost, and deliver business growth
- Manage intake of marketing initiatives and overall marketing budget
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities to expand patient acquisition, engagement and retention

Ideal Candidate
- MBA or advanced degree preferred; bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in healthcare or retail preferred
- Demonstrated success developing enterprise-level, multi-channel marketing strategies in highly regulated industries
- Deep understanding of healthcare consumer behavior and the evolving landscape of value based care
- Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, with the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution
- Inspirational team leader who fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Excellent communicator with the ability to distill complex ideas into compelling stories and business cases
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and measurement capabilities
- Known for building relationships and influence across matrixed organizations and navigating change with resilience
- Brings energy, curiosity, and a sense of humor to their leadership

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$203,400 - $279,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
