Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant to take on a hands-on role with a strong focus on high-volume invoicing, while building broader accounting experience. Partnering closely with the Financial Controller and operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing across the business.

End-to-end invoicing (medium-large volume weekly)

Supporting month-end tasks including reconciliations and accruals

Liaising with other staff to clarify job and billing details

Managing and resolving invoice queries

Maintaining accuracy across financial records

Assisting with general accounting duties and process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant / Accounts role

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes

Clear communicator, able to work with a diverse workforce

Patient and adaptable, with a proactive approach.

Intermediate Excel skills

Experience with MYOB
