Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturing company specialising in the production of high-quality industrial components and engineered solutions. The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role at the center of the business during a particularly busy period, providing critical support through the upcoming year-end process. Key responsibilities include:

• Management of month-end activities, including end-to-end ownership of reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
• Compliance management, leading the external audit process and ensuring adherence to accounting standards, including the preparation of high-quality financial statements
• Assist with year-end processes, ensuring all financial reporting requirements are met and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
• Partner with operational stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Your Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, with CA or CPA qualification
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Financial or Senior Financial Accountant role
• Demonstrated experience working with complex ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Advanced Excel skills, including strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
