Your role in helping us shape the future: U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. The Account Executive will work as part of the U.S. News Health vertical, helping to drive the success of marketing solutions in the pharma and life sciences space. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales, client relations, and marketing strategy, as well as exposure to working with product teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude and able to work independently in a sales capacity, demonstrating initiative and ownership across the full sales cycle. Requirements
You should definitely have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
One year to three years of similar or related experience in sales or account management
-
Experience selling marketing solutions, multi-platform programs, and growing client relationships
-
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
-
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
-
Ability to travel to industry events and represent U.S. News as needed
It would be nice if you had:

Experience in the healthcare, pharma, or life sciences industries

Experience securing early adopter clients and building a client base for a new product

Experience collaborating with product management teams

The base salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This position is eligible for commission. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
